Based in Taichung City in Taiwan, Vespark Industrial Co., Ltd., or VSP, is an original equipment manufacturer and exporter of glow plugs, as well as heaters and ignition systems.
The company began in 1972 as the Sun-Jun Precision Model Factory, which specialised in producing industrial sewing machine parts. In 1984, it succeeded in developing a highly accurate press molding technology, and within another two years, it was producing glow plugs.
In 1991, VSP became the sole supplier of glow plugs to Robert Bosch (SEA) Ltd. in Asia. In 2000, the company achieved ISO 9002 certification, and in 2002, it was certified under ISO 9001.
Today VSP’s products – particularly its industry-leading glow plugs – are exported worldwide.
Among the leading brands for which VSP manufactures glow plugs are Hino, Nissan, Toyota, Daihatsu, Komatsu Caterpillar, Mazda, Fiat, Isuzu, Mitsubishi and Volkswagen.
