One of Masterparts’ suppliers, King Engine Bearings, has won a Jasper supplier quality award for the third time.
Jasper Engines and Transmissions is the largest remanufacturer of gasoline and diesel powertrain and drivetrain components in North America. Every year, it recognises the contributions of its best suppliers through a number of industry-respected awards.
In 2012, King Engine Bearing won Jasper’s award for outstanding service. In 2014, it scooped another Jasper award, this time for overall quality – and in June of this year, the company won the award for overall quality for a second time running.
The winner of the overall quality award is selected based on a multi-faceted, scored review. For each supplier, teams at Jasper assess the quality and performance of supplied parts, along with the supplier’s warranties, quality control and success at resolving quality issues.
Says the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for King Engine Bearings, Limor DePetro, “Each year, we strive to provide the best quality products that we can, and again this year Jasper has recognized us for our efforts.”
