Are parts from Masterparts cheaper than those from FAW dealers?
FAW parts and spares from Masterparts are typically less expensive than those available directly from FAW dealers in South Africa.
However, this doesn’t mean you’ll be compromising on reliability. We deal directly with original equipment manufacturers and suppliers (OEM and OES), locally and internationally. Often the FAW parts and spares we supply are the same as those offered by FAW dealers – just at lower prices.

About the FAW Group Corporation
Based in Changchun, the FAW Group Corporation is one of China’s largest automakers. It has foreign joint ventures with manufacturers such as Audi, Toyota and Volkswagen.
FAW exports its popular trucks, passenger vehicles and auto parts to countries around the world.
Originally known as the First Automobile Works, FAW produced its first vehicle, the 4-ton Jie Fang CA-10 truck, in 1953. Three years later, the company produced China‘s first domestically manufactured passenger car, the Hong Qi.
FAW has been operating in South Africa since 1994. In 2014, FAW China and the China-Africa Development Fund invested roughly US$60 million in a brand new plant in Coega, in the Eastern Cape. The plant manufactures both passenger cars and trucks.
