Masterparts stocks a comprehensive range of aftermarket parts and spares for most GWM vehicles on South African roads, including the popular GWM Steed bakkies and GWM H5 SUVs.
Masterparts stocks at least 45,000 parts and spares at any given time, and if we don’t have a part in stock, we’ll do our best to find it for you.
Are parts from Masterparts cheaper than those from GWM dealers?
GWM parts and spares from Masterparts tend to be less expensive than those available directly from South African GWM dealers.
However, this doesn’t mean you’ll be compromising on quality. We source parts directly from original equipment manufacturers and suppliers, locally and abroad. Often the GWM parts and spares we supply are the same as those offered by dealers, just at lower prices.
Types of GWM parts we provide
Masterparts can provide almost any GWM part or spare you’re likely to need. However, please note that we don’t offer body panels, mirrors, or lights, for GWM or other vehicle makes.

If your model of GWM isn’t listed here, it doesn’t mean we can’t help – contact us and let us know what part you need and for what model, and we’ll do our best to assist. The following table identifies some of the GWM models for which we stock or can order parts and spares:
GWM, or Great Wall Motors, is China’s largest manufacturer of SUVs and pickup trucks. Founded in 1984, the company originally produced a line of trucks. By the early 1990s, it had introduced the first of its light-duty passenger and cargo vehicles.
GWM launched a South African division in 2007. Known for its affordable SUVs and single- and double-cab bakkies, the brand continues to grow in popularity.
Currently, GWM South Africa has 66 local dealerships, a Durban-based parts distribution warehouse and a pre-delivery inspection centre in Gauteng.
For many years, GWM included the name “Wingle” in the names of all its pickup trucks, “Haval” in the names of its SUVs and “Voleex” in the names of its passenger cars. Today, the names of the company’s SUVs still bear an “H” for “Haval”, but Wingle and Voleex are no longer used.
GWM has production facilities not just in China but also in Bulgaria, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran, Nigeria, Russia, Senegal, the Ukraine and Vietnam.
